@14kawa14 also when u are watching your calorie intake work your way down i said 2000 to 2500 as a good start because like me i am assuming that u eat alot of snack type foods and or fast food which are extremly high in calories, but also when your watching calories makesure u eat enough that u have enough energy to workout regularly and not enough to keep gaining weight

One can’t isolate fat-loss. We lose fat from everywhere as it re-enters the blood-stream and gets digested out our system. Learn what your BMR is. and then eat less than that. It really is that simple. Attach negative thoughts to your vices: “eating choc-cake will make feel like a loser” etc.

Buy a cheap digital scales. Weigh everything. You don’t need to weigh when you get used to what 40gms of whatever looks like. Learn about calorie content.

Eat brekky religiously. Religiously. Eat porridge, shredded wheat or make a smoothy with porridge, banana or mixed-berries, peanut-butter, skimmed-milk, flaxseed. Get your calorie-intake to about 1600 per day. You have to get used to the initial hunger-pangs, but they go away when your appetite is reduced – about a week.

I think you need to drop it to more like 1600 calories. As soon as I go anywhere near 2000, I can feel the flab making a comeback.

You’re right about brekky. I have 40gs of porridge, add about 20gms of flaxseed, sprinkle of cinnamon, about 200ml of skimmed-milk and top it off with dollop of low-fat yoghurt, sometimes a spoon of peanut butter.

Totally cut out ‘white’ carbs, (rice, pasta, potatoes, bread) especially after 7pm.

im trying to lose 30 to 40 pounds. can anyone help? im 14 and i weigh 210 pounds. i am a wrestler so i do have some muscle, but i have a lot a fat. can someone give me some tips so i can shred of 40 pounds so i can wrestle 170s

@14kawa14 stop shoving oreos into your mouth. 5 oreos is like 2 small meals you could be eating. your diet and caloric intake will determine this…also…develop muscle…muscle is what burns calories..like he said its an “active tissue” be diligent. dont go eating 6 krispy kremes straight off the line like i used to then ask wheres my 6 pack…truth is our body needs less than we give it as far as calories and being sedentary or leading an inactive lifestyle can really destroy you. drink water
